Premium-Line journey on GITEX 2024

Premium-Line Systems GmbH traditionally took part in GITEX GLOBAL. This year, the event was held in 14-18 October in the Dubai World Trade Center and, attracted tech enthusiasts and industry leaders from around the globe.

GITEX GLOBAL 2024, it was its 44th edition, is the world’s most established and iconic large-scale tech exhibition. For over four decades, it has been the gateway for tech creators, investors, and enthusiasts to collaborate. This year, the event was even more scaled. It offered an unprecedented 40+ halls of exhibition space, showcasing tech giants and innovative startups in fields like AI, Cybersecurity, Mobility, Sustainable Tech, and more.

The Premium-Line solutions were presented in the “German Pavilion”, the official collective stand of German companies at GITEX Global.

At the booth, Premium-Line presented the series of advanced solutions designed to improve the performance of structured cable systems. Among the highlights was the demonstration of FTTH solution as a technology that continues to be more and more popular every year.

A cabinet with optical and copper patch panels, as well as a hybrid patch panel, sockets and cable management was also installed in the booth. Demonstration of equipment was an important component, as partners could see almost all the main solutions that are needed for the implementation of a structured cabling system.

On October 16, 2024, the traditional partner conference was held in the Conference hall of Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay. This year it was held under the slogan “Key to success”.

Traditionally, we hold a meeting  in Dubai as part of the Gitex exhibition and this allows us to meet friends and partners with whom we have been cooperating for many years.

The business part began with the greeting the audience by Robert Grischany – the managing director of Premium-Line Systems GmbH. Then Wael Salah, the Regional Director of Premium-Line Middle East & Africa took the floor and spoke about the latest news and forms of cooperation. Next, our partners shared their stories, which  is the key to success for them. Short speeches were made by:

• Ahamed Abdullah, General Manager – Oasis Distribution SAE, Egypt
• Hisham Shalabi, General Manager- AWAL for Information Technology, Libya
• Ahmed Haydoub, Business development manager – ACC, Sudan
• ⁠Maryam Javadi, Commercial Manager – Lavan Ertebat, Iran

After that, Thousif PM, Sales Manager of Premium-Line MEA, greeted the audience. The main message in his speech was that the key to success is synergy at work.

Then Iryna Kashyna, the Premium-Line marketing-manager and Vlad Ritskyi, the Premium-Line technical director shared their ideas about the topic. Vlad invited partners to join the trainings, which can be completed online as well at the Premium-Line Academy.

In the final part, there was the presentation of the symbolic keys to success. This is not just a souvenir. As Robert Grischany pointed out:

We wish our partners to find the doors that this key will open. And everyone has their own unique path and unique door.

The meeting ended with informal communication and dinner in the hotel restaurant.

On August 10, 2024, DCL Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and Premium-Line Systems GmbH held a vibrant go-kart event at the Bandaragama International Racing Circuit. Premium-Line, a leading structured cabling brand from Germany, represented by DCL in Sri Lanka, used the event to strengthen business partner relationships. The day was filled with excitement, teamwork, and friendly competition among our partners.

The competition saw spirited racing, with top racers from MIT, Sumathi IT, and SLTS securing the top three spots. The event was a success, blending thrilling racing with valuable networking, highlighting the strong partnership between Premium-Line, DCL Engineering and their Systems Integrator partners from Sri Lanka as well as Maldives.

The day wrapped up with a networking, allowing participants to unwind, share their experiences, and strengthen connections got on the track.

Data centers are the foundation and core element of today’s digital infrastructure, providing the architecture needed to host and manage a wide range of online services, business applications and sensitive data. In Italy, as in the whole world, the data center market is constantly evolving, driven by new trends and constantly new challenges, such as the growing attention to issues related to sustainability, artificial intelligence and the reuse of energy generated during the operation of the data center.

All these topical issues were discussed within the framework of the exhibition-conference Datacenter Experience Expo, which took place in Rome on May 8, 2024. About 30 companies actively working on the Italian market took part in the events.

During the event, attention was paid to modern trends in the development of data centers. Separately, questions regarding the functioning of neural networks, which are at the center of the main driver in artificial intelligence, were brought up for discussion. Their ability to process data sequences and learn from large data sets opens up many possibilities already in the near future.

The main principles of the operation of data centers: efficiency, security, sustainability and continuity for the new digital businesses.

The participation of Premium-Line was organized by the Italian partner Antigone. As part of the exposition, samples of equipment and cable solutions, which have the greatest demand on the market, were presented. Premium-Line has a focus on structured cabling networks and we try to be the best in this segment and provide a full range of solutions and services. During the event, technical consultants provided all the necessary information about structured cabling systems for the data center.
