On September 5, 2019, the Premium-Line company, together with the authorized distributor of DCL Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, held several events in Sri Lanka.

Training for Technical Specialists

The training took place at the Renuka City Hotel. The main trainer was Vladislav Ritskyi- Technical Director of the Premium-Line company.

At the beginning, the Managing Director of Premium-Line Systems GmbH, Robert Grischany, made his introductory speech. He greeted the audience and thanked the partners for their cooperation and fruitful work. The program was designed to cover all aspects of structured cabling system implementations. We started by reviewing the technical standards and recent changes in this area. We considered the benefits of the Premium-Line copper and optical cables, navigation patch systems, DC solutions and cable management.

Special attention was paid to copper solution installation methods and testing methods.

In conclusion, we discussed the Premium-Line 25-year warranty program, its specific features and requirements for the obtaining procedure.

There was also a practical part, where the participants were able to test equipment and ask questions to the trainer, discuss acquiring knowledge, skills and share the experience.

Premium-Line (In)formal Business Banquet

The Mövenpick Hotel in Sri Lanka was the second location. “Premium-Line solutions for today and tomorrow” – this special event was organized for both: to present the new Premium-Line products and innovations and to enjoy the entertainment program. This combination created really warm and cozy atmosphere.  Especially for this meeting, a dance performance was prepared, in which local dancers showed elements of culture and national features.

At the end of the event, the gala cocktail with delicious snacks and special delicacies took place for all the participants.

The GHMT Test Summary:

• For testing, it was selected the most complex Horizontal cabling model – Crossconnect – CP – TO Model.
• Testing of transmission parameters of a 4 Connectors Channel was performed according to the specifications Class Ea in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801-1:2017.
• The maximum possible length of a permanent link was used – 90m.

Due to the rapid development of Smart Industrial, Smart Building and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, more and more devices are directly connected to the IP network and they already have an integrated RJ45 port. For example, there are IP cameras, LED lights, building and industrial automation controls, Wi-Fi access points and etc.

Today, according to the ANSI-TIA568.2-D standard, we have a new link model named Modular Plug Terminated Link. This allows terminating horizontal cables with a plug that is directly plugged into a device.

Supporting these features, Premium-Line has developed the Cat. 6A Unshielded Toolless RJ45 Plug specifically for connecting such devices to an unshielded Category 6A network. During its development, we paid a lot of attention to convenience and thought through even insignificant trifles. It does not require special tools and allows connecting almost anywhere.

There are the main features:

• Meeting the TIA/EIA-568.2-D, ISO/IEC11801 and EN50173-1 specifications.
• Complying with category 6A patch cord testing performance requirements.
• Connector accepts 22-26 AWG solid and stranded unshielded cables.
• Supporting T568 A&B wiring & easy installation.
• Terminating cable without tools.
• Ideal for industrial applications.
• Temperature range: -10° to 60°.

The modular plugs are manufactured from high-impact clear polycarbonate to withstand everyday wear and tear.

Quality guarantee

It is important to remember that to obtain a 25-year system warranty, you must use the Modular Plug Terminated Link (MPTL) Test.

For testing, you have to use Permanent Link adapter on one end and a Patch Cord adapter on the other end. These links should be tested against the TIA Permanent Link limits. See more clearly in our video.

June 25-29, 2019, the Premium-Line company took part in the Syria TECH Expo. The event was organized on Damascus Fairground and it was the most prominent annual commercial event in the field of information and communications, technologies, smart phones and applications. The Premium-Line company was presented by the reseller – IT CITY.

The Syria TECH Expo is an annual event that brings ICT companies together with technology visitors to share their views and ideas. It also contributes greatly to the expansion and development of the information sector in Syria, offering the latest and most advanced solutions. The exhibition is an important information forum and an opportunity to learn about the latest applications and technologies used in the field of informatics, smart cities and e-government.

The IT CITY team presented the most actual Premium-Line solutions such as Copper, Fiber, Data Centre & Cabinets. With visitors they discussed issues of building data centers, implementing large and complex projects, the importance of technical specialist trainings  and other issues.

The Premium-Line Academy in Vienna continues to work actively. On June 28, we carried out the training for technical specialists and engineers of a big consulting company. It was organized in the green area near the office. The training topic was highly specialized and considered standards and testing of structured cabling systems. Vladyslav Ritskyi, technical director of the Premium-Line Company talked about the standards that are currently used, testing requirements and what’s new in this area.

Herbert Mladosevits – technology / product manager of Premium-Line KSI GmbH held the training practical part, explained how to work with real equipment – testers and measuring instruments.

As was mentioned by Frits Janssen – sales manager of Premium-Line KSI GmbH: “Many installers do not pay enough attention to training in this area. There are a lot of pitfalls here: the tester misconfiguration, testing with the wrong limits, prolonged analysis and diagnostics by unqualified technicians, result misinterpretation and report generation that are unclear to the client. That is why such specialized trainings are very important.”

In our work we try to actively experiment and look for new approaches. This is not the first time to organize trainings on the open space. From our experience, it is more motivating for employees, it allows distracting from the office environment, focusing on obtaining new information and, of course, it is more beneficial to health.
